Simple Blta Chicken Salad

a favourite lunch in our residence is chook salad. it's far some thing that can be made so effortlessly either with leftover chicken, rotisserie or maybe canned hen. It use to be that we caught to the traditional, old fashioned manner of creating fowl salad. fowl, mayo and celery. Years and years ago I don't forget seeing waldorf style chicken salad on a menu and questioning to myself “that is so crazy! Who places all that stuff in hen salad?”.  

It wasn’t until I elevated my palette grew up that I realized there was a cause for all of these mix ins.  flavor!  candy tart, savory, crunchy and more. The one of a kind components touched each part of taste buds growing an great taste aggregate. From that point on I started out experimenting with distinctive flavor profiles for our bird salad.


  • 1 rotisserie chicken, shredded and chopped
  • 5 slices cooked bacon, chopped
  • 10 cherry tomatoes, quartered
  • 1 avocado, diced
  • ⅔ cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ tsp each garlic & onion powder
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Lettuce for wrapping
  • Celery seasoning to taste (optional)


  1. In a big bowl, integrate all dressing substances. mix nicely.
  2. upload hen, tomatoes, Beaverbrook and avocado. Stir to mix.
  3. Wrap in lettuce, revel in!  easy.
