These cookies are easy peasy. I used a crimson Velvet cake mix to make the cookie dough. I normally make my cookies from scratch, but I had such excellent success with the crimson Velvet Cheesecake Cookies, I decided to use a cake mix once more. I rolled the cookies in powdered sugar to give them the crinkle affect.




Anybody deserves a unique sweet treat on Valentine’s Day so make a batch of pink Velvet Crinkle Cookies and percentage the love. And if you don’t need to proportion and end up ingesting the complete batch of cookies via yourself, I received’t tell:) you can continually run to the store for a box of chocolates:)

INGREDIENTS


  • 1 box red velvet cake mix (I used Duncan Hines)
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup canola oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Powdered sugar, for rolling the cookies
  • Heart shaped cookie cutter, optional

DIRECTIONS


  1. Preheat oven to 350 tiers F. Line a massive baking sheet with parchment paper or a Silpat and set aside.
  2. In a massive bowl, integrate cake mix and flour. Whisk until clumps disappear. in the bowl of a stand mixer, blend together cake blend, flour, eggs, oil and vanilla extract. mix until smooth. Take about 1 tablespoon of cookie dough and form into a ball. Roll the ball in powdered sugar till completely coated. place cookie dough balls on prepared baking sheet. Bake for 10 mins, or till edges are set and cookies begin to crack.
  3. let cookies take a seat on baking sheet for 2 minutes. If favored, cut cookies into heart shapes, the use of a heart shaped cookie cutter. transfer cookies to a twine cooling rack and cool completely. consume the cookie scraps:)
