Raw Meats Are Tender Chicken

This easy-to-bake chicken tender recipe requires only 3 general ingredients - chicken, bacon and cheese! Ready under 30 minutes.



I am always looking for low-carb chicken recipes I can make going forward. (My whole family loves chickens!) And, with two children and two jobs, I am often too busy or tired of weeknights to spend a lot of time or effort on dinner.

That is one reason I am happy to make this easy pork wrapped in tender chicken. You can easily prepare them first! I usually prepare chicken wrapped in bacon on weekends, and store it in a pan in the refrigerator. Then, I can just stick the pan in the oven just before dinner time.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 lb chicken breast tenderloins (about 8 pieces)
  • 8 Bacon slices
  • 4 slices of Cheddar Cheese (cut in half)

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Fill a large bowl with warm water and a few tablespoons of sea salt. Add tenderloins to chicken breasts (making sure the water covers them). Set aside for salt water for at least 10 minutes.
  2. Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 450 degrees F (232 degrees C). Baking line with foil (light oily) or parchment paper.
  3. Remove the chicken from the water and dry it. Place a piece of cheese on top of each piece of chicken. Wrap two together in a piece of meat. Place it on the baking sheet, with the cheese side facing up. Repeat with the remaining chicken, cheese and meat.
  4. Bake for about 13-16 minutes, until the chicken is cooked. Place it under the grill for a few minutes until crispy until the meat.
