Instant Panel Grilled Egg

This instant Roast Pot Egg Recipe will definitely be a hit! Even children love them, just get rid of green onions if they are a little picky. You can add tons of vegetables (or even meat) for this recipe, which makes it super flexible. There are certain vegetables Sapphire can't eat, and certain people we don't really want, so we mix it up quite a bit. I really love adding chopped asparagus to this recipe (and basically everyone else!). Try it and let me know how you like it!

We use our instant pots quite a bit, but usually for dinner recipes (such as instant Kung Pao Chicken Pot and instant Macaroni and cheese pot). Using it for breakfast is good. Now that girls return from school for the summer, we have to feed them three times a day rather than just eat. That means we have to get creative.


  • Oil spray
  • 6 eggs
  • 2 cups frozen fries
  • ¼ cup unsweetened almond milk
  • free fat ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 onion, diced
  • ½ green peppers, diced
  • ½ red peppers, diced
  • 1 cup of water
  • Optional onion decoration


  1. Spray an instant pan with oil spray and saute the button.
  2. Add the onions, green peppers, and red peppers and stir until tender.
  3. Press Cancel and add frozen french fries while instant Pot is still warm stir until the fries are soft.
  4. Heat-resistant bowl oil spray that will fit in the instant pan of your liner without touching the edges.
  5. Spoon the onion mixture, peppers and french fries into a hot proof bowl.
  6. Beat eggs, milk, ¼ cup of free fat shredded cheddar, salt and pepper.
  7. Pour the egg mixture into a heat-resistant bowl and stir until everything is coated.
  8. Pour 1 cup of water into an instant pan.
  9. Place the heat-resistant bowl on your instant pan and place it in your ship with the handle of the trivet up
  10. Close the lock, set the hole for sealing, and press manual high pressure for 20 minutes.
  11. When is instant Pot beep, quick pressure release.
  12. You might see some moisture on your egg roast and it's okay, loosen the roasted edge of the egg with a toothpick or butter knife.
  13. Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top and add green onions as a decoration if you want.
