Granola Healthy Beans

This healthy peanut butter granola is a perfect make-front breakfast recipe! With only 6 ingredients it is very easy to make and ready in less than 30 minutes.

Hello and happy new year to you! I'm crazy excited about all that 2017 has been in store ... mostly especially this precious baby girl meeting in April! While I've been super grateful for ht83 during the {elastic waist Hello, I love you} vacation, I'm vey ready to take cold sugar pills and get our family back in healthy eating swings!

Really enjoy holiday indulgences with zero regrets! However, we generally eat very healthy here, and I am glad that I can share what works for my family with all the beautiful women and gentlemen!

  • 2 ancient cups or fast cooking wheat *
  • ½ teaspoon of cinnamon powder
  • T tsp sea salt
  • ¼ cup of natural peanut butter
  • ¼ cup of honey or maple syrup for vegans
  • ½ tsp of pure vanilla extract

  1. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F. Grease large baking sheets and set aside.
  2. In a small bowl, mix wheat, salt and cinnamon. Set aside
  3. In a microwave safe dish or on a stovetop, melt the jam and honey (or maple syrup) together until smooth.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.
  5. Stir the ingredients dry and stir until mixed.
  6. Spread the prepared mixture of cookie sheets.
  7. Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the granola is browned, stirring the granola once gently halfway through. (A good way to test for maturity is to remove a small portion of granola from the pan and place it on the table. If it hardens like it cools the rest of the granola, do it!)
  8. Remove from the oven and let it sit until cooled.
  9. After cooling, breaking and eating!
