Edible Santa Suit Candy Cups #christmas #cups

Add a touch of imagination to Christmas. You treat this holiday by making edible Santa Suit candy cups. You can fill them with candy, pudding, chocolate mousse or nuts.

It must have been a busy holiday season for me trying to balance my chocolate making business with blogging while ensuring our exchange students had a wonderful holiday experience.

Between working in the candy kitchen, we have taken the time to go do some fun activities; we have decorated the gingerbread house, caramelized with friends, played bingo (I won!), shopped a lot, and even found time to see Santa.

This last Saturday we even volunteered at a parade and holiday festival then took classes and made feather blankets and pillows before returning to another chocolate package. Our day spent very full day in the kitchen candy 14 working hours and will have both busy these days.


  • 12 ounces of liquid candy in red melted sugar
  • 3 ounces of melted white sugar
  • 3 ounces of black and white clay chocolate candy models
  • sugar for powder cutting dust
  • candy nuts, trail mix, dried fruit, mini cookies, chocolate mousse, pudding, ice cream, etc.


  1. Fill a small plastic cup with melted red candy melts.
  2. Let the cup filled with candy sit at room temperature for about 5 minutes.
  3. Pour the wet candy from the cup, leaving only the outer shell of the candy to melt in the cup.
  4. Cup set, upside down, on parchment paper lined with baking pan.
  5. Freeze for 4-5 minutes.
  6. Remove and pull the candy cup from a plastic cup.
  7. Allow white candy to melt to cool slightly.
  8. A white brush of candy melts over the top edge of the candy cup so that it looks like a feather.
  9. Flatten candy black clay.
  10. Cut 3/8 inches by 6 inches long belt.
  11. Flatten white candy candy.
  12. Cut a small square buckle.
  13. Lightly brush the water on the back of the clay buckle.
  14. Press the candy buckle into the candy candy black belt.
  15. Candy brush melts behind the candy belt.
  16. Immediately wrap the candy belt a cup of candy and cut off the excess.
  17. Fill the cup with candy, traces of mixture, dried fruit, mini cookies, chocolate mousse, pudding, or ice cream.
