Chocolate Zucchini Banana Bread

You can already have a V8! Not so fast, try this zucchini chocolate banana bread instead. Yep, thats right. This bread gives a portion of fruit and vegetables, not to mention a way to satisfy your sweet tooth.

My sister shared this recipe with me and I'm glad she did. This bread is very good. It's basically like eating dessert for breakfast. Between the taste of bananas and chocolate chips, your sweet tooth will be satisfied.

  • 1/2 cup (40 g) dark brown cocoa
  • 1 1/2 cups (180 g) of flour
  • 1 teaspoon of baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) of vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup (100 g) of white sugar
  • 1/2 cup (110 g) bright brown sugar, eat
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 2 cups of grated zucchini (approx. 300 g or two medium zucchinis, pat dry)
  • 3/4 cup of cooked banana (approximately 175 g about two medium bananas)
  • 1 cup (175 g) chocolate chip

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 ° F. Spray the bread 5 x 9 pans with non-stick spray, set aside.
  2. In a mixing bowl, mix cocoa, flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt and cinnamon. Set aside.
  3. In large mixing bowls, mix oil, vanilla and both sugars. Stir in eggs, bananas and grated zucchini. Stir until mixed.
  4. You can turn dry ingredients only until combined. Fold in chocolate chips. Pour the mixture into a pan prepared for bread and bake in the oven for 45-60 minutes until the toothpick comes out clean with a few wet crumbs sticking to a toothpick.
  5. Remove from the oven and let it cool completely. Slice and serve. The shop is closed at room temperature.
