Chicken Cordon Bleu Quesadillas

There is so much to love about Chicken Cordon Bleu Quesadillas! They have all the same unbearable taste from traditional, and time consuming like Chicken Cordon Bleu in this super easy quesadilla! There is a sticky layer of cheese, crispy bread crumbs, savory ham and Parmesan Dijon chicken sauce sauce is certainly killer that you can eat with a spoon! This is a winner!

If you're a cheese lover like me you're in luck because the Chicken Cordon Bleu Quesadillas are loaded with yummy cheese and if it's not good enough there is this amazing Parmesan Dijon cream sauce dipping them in!


  • 1 inch 8-10 flour tortillas
  • , C., Bake chicken breast, sliced
  • 2-3 slices of deli ham
  • 4 slices of Swiss cheese or Provolone
  • 2 T. toasted breadcrumbs
  • 2 T. melts butter


  • 2 T. butter
  • 1 T. 1 cup milk flour
  • 1 chicken cube broth
  • 1 tablespoon of Dijon mustard
  • Hot sauce dash, optional
  • ½ cup of grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste


  1. To make a sauce Melt the butter in a pan-sized medium. Beat in flour and add chicken broth and cook for 1-2 minutes. Slowly add milk while stirring. Add mustard and hot sauce. Continue cooking and stirring for about 5 minutes or until it thickens. Remove from heat and add parmesan cheese and stir. Keep warm heat lower.
  2. To make quesadilla.
  3. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  4. Add one tortilla shell to the pan.
  5. Add one layer of cheese slices.
  6. Add a layer of human rights.
  7. Sprinkle with breadcrumbs
  8. Add another layer of cheese.
  9. Add a layer of chicken slices.
  10. Drizzle with a few spoonfuls of sauce.
  11. Sprinkle with other breadcrumbs.
  12. Add a layer of cheese.
  13. Top with another tortilla shell.
  14. Cook until the bottom tortilla is golden brown. Flip and continue to cook until the other side is brown.
  15. Cut it into slices and serve with the rest of the sauce.

Be sure to cook your quesadilla over medium heat. If your heat is too hot, the quesadilla will become golden brown before the cheese melts and the fillings are heated through.
Stores buying breaded chicken can be used instead of adding breadcrumbs.
Cheese grater can be used instead of cheese slices.
The right amount of ingredients can vary depending on how much you add to your quesadilla!
This recipe is enough sauce for some quesadillas. It's easy to make as many quesadillas as you want!
You can make your own breadcrumbs by placing the heel in a food processor and processing them until they are in breadcrumbs. Bake them at 350 degrees for about 5 minutes.
